What are the splits?
-Clothes, shoes, off-brand purses, costume jewelry, scarves, hats, and other
accessories are split 40% to the consignor and 60% to the store.
-Everything else is 50% to the consignor for the first 30 days on the sales floor,
before changing to 40% to the consignor and 60% to the store. This includes
sterling silver and antique jewelry and name-brand purses such as Coach and
Michael Kors.
When do items start going on sale?
-Items gradually go on sale. They expire at 90 days (luxury and antique items differ).
-25% off at 40 days. 50% off at 75 days days 75% off at 115 days.
How do deal with luxury and high end items?
-At the discretion of the owner, some items may be deemed valuable or rare such as
gold jewelry, Prada and Louis Vuitton purses, valuable artwork, rare antiques,
pieces crafted exclusively to be sold in our store, etc. In these select cases, the owner
will receive 50% for the first 60 days the item is on the sales floor. These items do
not expire until 120 days and may be listed online, taken off the usual markdown
schedule, and marketed in unique ways, to maximize selling.
What do I do if I decide I want my items back?
You may come in to get your item at any point BEFORE it expires by paying a storageand labor fee of 10% of the ORIGINAL price.
How do I consign?
No appointment is necessary. We aim to sort and have you on your way in 15
minutes, when that isn't possible, we will give you an estimated time to pick up your
unwanted items.
Do you accept items of all conditions?
Unless an item is antique or rare, we only accept items in great condition. We steer
away from lower-end brands and towards higher-end brands. Please do not question or argue with what we do or do not accept.
Are there things you will not take?
We do not take most arts and crafts supplies or exercise equipment. We don't take
used car seats, mattresses, bras, underwear, socks, or inflatables.
Is there a consigner fee?
Yes, There is a one time $5 account set-up fee. This fee is taken out of your first sale(s) to pay.
Do you pick up or deliver items?
No, you are responsible for getting your items to the store or from our store. We do not pick up or delivery items purchased or consigned.
When is my money available to me and how do I get it?
Your money is available 7 days after a sale, for in-store pick up. If you are an out of state consigner checks may be mailed to the address on file minus a $1.50 fee.
